Zero Full Power Electric Motorcycles
Whilst all Zero motorcycles produce class-beating torque from the very first rpm, the continuous power output on some models is electronically limited to 11 kW (14.5 bhp), simply so they can be driven with a CBT licence. The rest of Zero's models are full-power motorbikes which require an A licence, as they deliver 33 kW - 82 kW of peak power, without any artificial limit to the continuous power. This simply means that they're faster, with all models equipped with the 14.4 kWh Power Pack capable of triple-digit top speeds. Torque figures between 106 - 190 Nm place Zero's full power models streets ahead of every petrol motorcycle in the equivalent weight category. In fact, the SR/F offers 0.86 Nm per kg, which is 13% greater than the 2.3 litre Triumph Rocket 3's 0.76 Nm per kg.
